Details of the issue I am running ftb on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Java runtime environment 8. This error has happened on multiple occasions. I can post the file it saves after every crash if needed.

Download and install drivers from nvidia for your gpu - that's a nvidia card, right?

Yes, but its made by MSI, who only supports windows. I have downloaded Nouveu, but sadly that hasn't helped a bit.

Found the driver on Nvidia's page, gonna see if that works...
