Problem Ultimate server How much ram to put in?

Hi, I have a server that only me and a friend go on. I host it on my computer but it's quite laggy. Can you show me how to put in the ram and how much? Thanks. Specs: ram 16 gb 64 bit
processor i5-3459 cpu 3.10 GHz

Sounds more like a bandwidth issue.

If you don't know how to allocate more ram to your server try reading posts rather than asking questions, very very simple questions.
