Hi, I'm going to make a Redpower 2 tunnel bore, and I was wondering if they still work, if I have one going at y 50(for copper), and it encounters and ocean. Would this break my bore or would it continue until it reaches land again?
 
should work fine as long as it has the proper covers protecting the delicate parts from water
