Trying to import old SF3 world to new fresh download. Wont work.

Title Trying to import old SF3 world to new fresh download. Wont work.

Details of the issue I opened my original world in mcedit. I highlighted my island, exported it as a mc edit schematic.

Opened my new empty world in mc edit. Imported my old world schematic.

Clicked save.

Nothing gets saved. I close the world then open it again and its just a blank world. I've tried like eight times. I closed minecraft and the curse app. Nothing is open but mcedit. I googled it and someone said something about sessionlock preventing it so I deleted that. Still nothing.
