Trying to get on a a server but they all say I am missing mods

There is always a long list of mods that I am either missing or are out of date but I use the right build and I havent messed with any of the files and I allow it to update so where am I going wrong

I have the same problem! My friends are able to join the server (FTB ULTIMATE) but I cant join even if I have the same client! There are missing mods! How can we fix it?

I would delete and redownload, once thats done show me a list of mods that are "missing" and ill help you out. Some will be wrong versions as opposed to missing. Twilight forest was one such mod that was sneakily updated by FTB without a release.

ok remove the pack and re-download it again, also be sure that the server youre trying to join is infact using the pack youre attempting to join with.

im not really sure what to say, contact the server owner and be sure the right pack is in use and he hasnt updated manually or something....
