Troubles with Forestry Farm

I am currently attempting to setup a Biogas Farm Complex. I have 4 tree farms up and going and was about to add a couple wheat farms to produce additional plantballs. When I moved my old farm over to new location and hooked up power (via Redstone energy pipes and also tried a redstone energy cell and power was being drained) and put in the dirt/seeds the farm then said that it need somewhere to put refuge material. I hooked up a buildcraft wooden pipe to the side the Farm just started spewing sand .... and more sand.... and more sand. Also the Farm failed to build dirt plots. I then thought that it was some form of brain fart so I hooked up my second one and it did the same. What am I doing wrong or is there a problem with forestry farms with the introduction of multiblock farms. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if any additional information is needed please let me know.

Are you using a standard Farm or a Multiblock Farm?

I likely won't be of much help, but can you post a screenshot of what's in the farm?

I could later but the description tells it all. I added power. I added supplies. it spits out sand and doesnt build. Area is clear around it so clearing the area is not an issue......... Dont know!
