Win7(forgot to add prefix)

FTB beta 0.2
Mc 1.4.2

java 7 update 9

This crash happens apparently, as far as i can tell, by some form of terrain generation, possibly extrabiomes, because it happens every time i move towards a certain set of coordinates. The crash is completely instantaneous and i have 1024-3072 MB RAM allocated, my machine has no trouble running full modpacks like these at 60+ fps.

The new updates fixed it ages ago. Try updating your lwgjl, java, and anything else that's outdated on your computer. Try running Razer Game Booster to check for driver updates, it's fully free.

I had done all those updates and then the problem happened. I had also updated Optifine which proved to be the culprit.

Cool. I think Optifine's a bit too 'enclosed', as it doesn't play well with the other mods' ways of rendering stuff, so tc3 'should' be VERY troublesome with it since it uses all those fancy custom particles and physics stuff.
