Treeless pure nodes? TC question

If I cut down a silverwood tree, will the pure node inside it still be there? the area I am in has a lot of flux (there is a dark node close by) and the large number of silverwood trees nearby is protecting me from the worst of the effects, but i want to cut them down for saplings so i can create a more suitable enviroment for thaumcrafting, but I dont want my main base to be swamped in wisps.

I was wondering, i know that silverwood trees create pure nodes when they sprout, but do the trees themselves have any effect on the aura like in TC2?
