Recently I've been trying to set up some tree farms for rubber but cannot find anything on the web on how much mj the arboretum, logger, and treetap use per tick. If anyone knows how much each one uses it would be much appreciated.

Sorry to say, but those are outdated with the latest version of forestry

You can create one with a manual multifarm, so need an intricate circuit board, and attach rubberised electron tubes to all four slots. Google how to set a multifarm up if you haven't heard of one. They require an input of fertilizer (Apatite stuff, not the IC2 fertiliser from scrap and bonemeal) and water. The energy requirement for them from what heard around the forums is 75MJ per action, not per tick. So, if you've got a large farm it will take more energy than a smaller farm.

Hope this helps

The old, outdated farms consumed however much energy you gave them, even if they had nothing to do, just like a thermionic fabricator. That's why you don't find consumption figures anywhere.

The new multifarms use energy only when they are doing something, on a pay-per-worked-block basis.

your best bet for the accurate information would be to build a multifarm, in a creative world hook it up to a energy cell n seeing the base usage, that will give you the asnwer your looking for, i dont have access to my ftb client atm but i hope it helps
