I noticed that the server still crashes when sending minecarts through Mystcraft portals to the Nether or Mystcraft ages. I was planning on setting up a quarry powered by biogas engines and using railcraft to transport the biofuel from my railcraft tank to the engines. I was also planning on using railcraft to take the items from the quary and bring them back to the overworld but of course that won't work now.

I'm curious as to what alternatives I could use to transport fuel and items between worlds. I was thinking for fuel, I would use Thermal Expansion's Liquid Transposer, fill it up with fuel, place tin cans in to be filled up with the fuel, and then enderchest the cans to the quary age. There they will be dumped into another Liquid Transposer to be extracted into the engines and then just loop around between Transposers. This seemed to work well with getting lava out of the nether but I was actually able to use a Magmatic Engine to power those Transposers so I didn't really have to worry about fueling an engine. In the overworld, I could power the Transposer with Commercial Steam but what will I power the Transposer in the age with? I was thinking maybe biofuel but then I would have to waste biofuel on that engine instead of the machines.

As for items mined from the quarry, I was thinking Enderchest would probably be my option and use RP or BC to get the items out of the chest in the overworld and sent into my sorting system.

So I'm curious what you people think. Are there any better options or should I just go with my idea?

Thanks

For oil, just power both the pump and the transposer from a redstone cell. I have yet to see a deposit of oil so large that a full cell is not enough to drain and bucketize it completely. If you're looking for a truly permanent solution, perhaps a solar panel and an electric engine.

Biogas engines don't burn biofuel, they need biomass. Biofuel can be burned in combustion engines.

See what I did there?

Just put a RECell between your quarry and your transposer with your engines filling the cell. The transposer will use every now and then a bit of energy to empty one container, the rest of the time the quarry will eat everything. Just set your RECell output equal to the input from the engines.
