Is there a way to change one placed item into another? For example: changing wooden slabs into stone slabs.

OK, so I built it and I figured how to use it...but it's placing the slabs in the wrong direction. It's actually lowering them. How can I make it place slabs at the EXACT level?

Found the tool I needed. It's the Crescent Hammer.
