Tool Station in Tinker's Construct

Hello!

I've decided to give FTB Infinity Evolved a try with expert mode. I am, however, stuck at the Tinker's Construct tool bench. I cannot seem to get it to make a pickaxe. I have a Copper Pickaxe Head, a Copper Tough Binding, and a Copper Tough Rod in there, but the only thing it seems to want to construct is the head but with the name changed.

I cannot seem to figure this out. All the tutorials are saying that all I need to do is put the three items in to create a pickaxe, but it's not working. I wanna say it's a bug, but I know that expert mode sometimes has a few weird tricks. Any help would be appreciated.

Umm... even on Expert, pick should use only the normal rod and binding, not the Tough version.

Pickaxe doesn't use a tough binding. Try using a normal tool binding (I recommend paper for the extra modifier).
