funny how game corps ridiculously pillage the gaming community... funny how the gaming community complains and pays it anyway...

I don't think it even does that... It's a commentary on the state of things in the game development world.

a vocal minority are up in arms about each of the topics touched on. most of the arguments make sense, just not the last one. i generally only see early access for games made by smaller developers who likely don't have the capital or resources that the bigger guys do with QA/testing departments.

The only thing I see that the cartoon has to do with the EULA is the cause of why the EULA was modified/clarified.
^aside early access of course.
Some server owners were doing things similar to the cartoon (cutting mods up and selling their use, and P2W).
These kinds of "donation" (really P2W often) servers is what caused MOJANG to act.

In regard to early access games. This model works wonderfully for actual indie dev's; who literally don't have the money to keep a roof over their heads if they devote themselves to development, and not work full/part time elsewhere. The "bad" early access is in regards to already established studios/companies using early access to alleviate the need for them to invest in their own product. And of course the occasional "dev" that takes lots of early access money in, then bails on the game.
