Tiny Progressions Growth Crystal

I’ve been playing tons of sky factory 3, and I’ve just spent hours getting to a point to where I can get a tier 3 growth crystal from the tiny progressions mod. I found it on YouTube and it seems to work very good and is worth the cost how ever I made it and placed it and it didn’t really have any effect. I’ve looked this up and seen that it has something to do with the tick growth speed. I was wondering if I could get some help getting the growth crystals to where they used to be in how good they were
