On the server I play on has an issue with Mobs, they won't spawn, and if they spawn it is rare for them to do so. So, I can get up to those Slime Islands from Tinkers' Construct, will they drop the Slime Plant Seeds? If they don't, is there a possible way to spawn Slimes without cheats?

I would guess not, considering there is no mobdictionary.
EDIT: A mod that bases all progression off mob drops? I now have a new definition for badly designed.
