It used to be that I could glide with the Botany wings while using Sword of the Zephyr.
The result was continuous updraft and forward motion.
However - something has changed in 2.1.3
Now when I am using the swords flight/uplift ability, the glide cannot be triggered.

Another symptom of this is that when I am trying to glide, eg: falling, and then pressing shift - the glide triggers after about 0.5 of a second after the shift is depressed.
Making it practically impossible to trigger a good glide.

Anyone else encounter this?
 
That actually sounds like a deliberate design decision to me. I assume you're talking about the Sword of the Zephyr from Thaumcraft and the Flugel Tiara from Botania, both of which are intended to not allow infinite flight. It sounds to me like the Tiara disables itself for half a second after you use the Zephyr launching ability.

I don't see any mention of the Sword of the Zephyr anywhere on Botania's changelog, though... *shrug*
