This keeps booting me to desktop! Ideas?

Not sure where I need to really post this, Im terrible at navigating forums. I came across these white multi-block structures while looking for nodes and when I get anywhere between ~1-20 or so blocks I get booted all the way out to my desktop and have no way to get the log from the console since it is on a server my fiance is running. Its in the FTB launcher running modpack Infinity 2. Ive tried logging in twice since the first boot but I cant stay in and even trying to get away from these things is a nightmare to try. Does anyone know what the heck these structures are?

They are lanterns. It looks like it should be abyssal stone there not lanterns. I can't remember the proper name for the item. I do know that you normally don't see them in out in the wild. They are the sort of thing that have to be crafted. Not found.

it looks like lanterns and abyssal stone are both from railcraft.
