Problem The new MP Version of DireWolf20's LP V3.0.0 Keeps Crashing on world startup

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Do you mean version 1.3.0 ?

16gb is way too much and will cause issues for you.

Normally 4-6gb is enough (a few of the 1.16 needs 6-8gb).

Have you altered keybindings - if yes, try and restore the options.txt file (just remove it and let it recreate - make a manual backup of the file if you want to restore some of the changes) - if it works with a new file, then something has bugged out.

If you still have issues, post a log - a screenshot is not telling anyone anything (more or less).

Use a paste service, https://paste.feed-the-beast.com works fine - and then share the link here.

I also updated the Direworlf20 1.16 pack today to 1.3.0 from 1.2.0. The game starts properly, but when I load my world, the loading gets to 100% then Minecraft closes with Error Code: 0 this happens when loading my previous world or creating a new one.

Latest.log shows:
Code:

    ... 6 more

Maybe not exactly the same issue, but the two seem to occur when loading a world.

So you downgraded instead of clearing the options.txt that I told you?

Never had and issue with the amount of ram i use. In fact it only helped.
I'm not even going to try and convince you - if you don't want to listen to what's recommended, then there's nothing I can do to help you out (checked the log and you're still using 16gb) - this is not something I made up, this is how computers work and how java / minecraft is behaving when given to much ram.
