Hello.

I'm looking to start a community. I need both members, moderators, admins, and server owners to get this off the ground. So let's get started!

Let me make this clear.

What?
The community I would like to form is called BananaCraft. In fact, I already have the domain BananaCraft.me (work in progress) along with a website to go with it. It's primarily going to be centered on the custom FTB server I have, and I'm open to other server partnerships.

Why?

Players:
It would be a fun and unique server to play on. There are some of you who have been around the block a few times, and have seen many of the same type of server. While this is great, and I enjoy playing on those types of servers too, I believe that a great playerbase can be centered around a unique server. Thus, BananaCraft was born.

Someone asked me to clarify this: What makes the server unique?
Currently, I've been working on a modpack for minecraft similar to FTB, but with a few additions, such as Flan's Planes, Matmos, and when Aether comes out, that as well. I know it doesn't sound unique, but the mods are only part of what makes a server great. You also have to factor in the quality of administration of the server. Some servers have reputations for really shitty admins/moderators, which is something I don't want.

I've been asking around to see what people's favorite mods are, so what I plan on hosting is still up for discussion. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!

Moderators and Admins:
As well as the points made in the players' note, you would be a part of a great community, which could potentially become something amazing like LifePunch or SavageRealms.

Server Owners:
We could potentially team up to form a multi-server community, featuring a cross server ban system and a central forum. Everyone knows that working together is better than going solo, and sharing a large active playerbase is better than having a fragmented, smaller, and less active one.

How much of it is done already?
The forums are finished for the most part.
The website homepage just needs content.
The domain points to all the servers correctly, including the Minecraft server.

Things that need to be done. (I'm not asking anyone to do it but myself.)
The server is getting close to being fully configured, there are only a few issues that need to be taken care of.
Permissions need to be checked.

What would I do?
Play Minecraft and keep fucktards and 8 year olds off the server.
Use the forums.

Requirements:
I don't have many requirements, but I have a few that are very important. They are listed in order of importance.
- Mature
- Uses proper grammar
- At least semi-active

Sounds Great! What do I do?
If you are interesting in being a part of the community (I'm mostly looking for staff/moderators/admins), you can PM me or email me (info[a]bananacraft.me) with the following info:

Alternatively, you can apply by creating a forum account and posting in the recruitment thread. Whatever is more convenient.

Name (InGame/Common Internet Name):

Age (OPTIONAL, but helpful):

Position of Interest (Dedicated Member/Moderator/Admin/Co Owner):

Skills:

Past Experience (I don't care, you don't need to include this, but it's good to know):

--- If you are a server owner, continue ---

What Minecraft servers do you own?

Are you willing to change the IP/Hostname of the server to a *.bananacraft.me domain?
You can keep the current players on the current hostname, but encourage them to change it.

What terms would you have in order to form a partnership?

If you PM me or email me, please post in this thread, as I watch over this section daily.

Again, thank you for your time! I really appreciate it!

Also, I am extremely flexible as far as partnering with existing server owners.
