I've looked into ways to generate aspects, and I just don't see any of them working.
I've seen that bookshelves and clusters will give you the shining star next to the aspect, and that when this star is on an aspect it will regenerate over time. I have stars on about half my aspects, and I've waited for hours, and none of them have gone up even one point.

Secondly, the deconstruction table stops once you have one aspect in there. Is there a way to automatically remove it or something? Because if you have to manually remove each aspect that gets made, it's going to take forever to get the amount you need. I'm just looking for a way to automate, even if it costs a lot of materials.

And please don't tell me to go around looking at things... The amount of aspect points you get is very low compared to the amount of time and effort you spend finding that one thing you haven't found yet, but are capable of observing, haha.

Thanks for the help

The star next to an aspect in the research table means that if you use up all of that aspect, you will instantly generate one point in that aspect and use up the star (until it generates again). If you want to efficiently use these, constantly use your primals to create more complex aspects. Also, separate research tables keep track of stared aspects separately. If you're short on aspects, use this to your advantage.

Yes, it's a manual process. Try running a few in parallel and use a cheap, renewable, and aspect-rich item like wool (it should get you almost all primals, sans Ignis).

And are you certain you've scanned everything around your base or that you can easily craft? Most machines and anything you make in Thaumcraft itself should be very aspect dense.

Ohhh kay that does make a little more sense. So I use the last one, and it gives me another, then goes away. The over time I'll just randomly get another one. Cool, that'll help, thanks.

Yeah, I've thought of just having tons of decontruction tables, that'll probably work too, just a little bit of a pain.

The problem I have is that when researching, I'll keep trying different aspects to get runes to light up, and sometimes I go through the whole list, using up all of them, so I waste a lot, but I don't know any other way to figure it out, other than cheating.

Thanks, this will help a lot

A little tip, if you're starting out, don't just scan the first thing you see because if you can an item and get points for a new aspect, you get double the points. You can get 20+ points for scanning an iron block to get metallum for the first time.
