Essentially, I have completed as much thaumcraft as available and cannot figure out how to unlock the advanced alchemical furnace. I have both the eldritch epiphany and eldritch revelation unlocked in the eldritch tab. I've gone to the outer lands and defeated the boss for the primordial pearl (Which I'm aware is a crafting component of this furnace). As well as I have researched every single thing in the thaumonomicon that is available to me, and my warp level (viewed by the sanity checker) is maxed out, with the brain at the top of the meter cracked.
My only hint as to why I haven't unlocked it is the crimson rites stuff, as I have none of that unlocked or viewable in the thaumonomicon (I see nothing in it regarding the crimson rites). I have, however, obtained the crimson rites book (through a loot bag if I'm not mistaken) yet I don't recall if I've "studied" the book. When I right click on it in-game nothing happens.
I assume this crimson issue is what's holding me back, as there are more things in my thaumonomicon grayed out (specifically in the eldritch and automagy tabs) which say "Missing Required Research" yet there is nothing left for me to research in the research table.
If someone could help me figure out what I'm missing, or if there's a bug, that'd be wonderful! =D
