so it's nice that there are texturepacks in the launcher now, but how do we know when a texturepack is updated to the new modpacks or are outdated?

I hoped this would be added in the launcher somehow, but haven't seen it happen yet, thus this topic, asking for a way to see when a texturepack gets updated for newer modpack versions.
