I wonder if anyone has a fix for this odd bug. The symptom is simple: sometimes, items I pump into Tesseracts just vanish instead of arriving at their destinations.

I have checked for chunkloading, incorrect channel and redstone configuration and for forgotten tesseracts sharing the same channel. These are not the cause. I have also simplified my setup in order to just connect two chests with a tesseract instead of machines whose behaviour may distort the results.

The setup I tested last is simple:

Chest--->EnderIO Item conduit--->tesseract 1 [some distance, same dimension] tesseract 2--->chest.

Result: the items vanished from the source chest, but did not arrive at their destination regardless of whether or not there was any space in the destination chest.

What makes this bug odd is that it's not 100% reproducable. I haven't found any system to its appearance, it may have something to do with reconfiguring tesseracts previously used for something else. I also don't know if the fact that WAILA always reports the channels as 0 has anything to do with it. I doubt it though, since WAILA *always* reports 0 and the tesseracts sometimes work.

The cause may have something to do with the EnderIO conduits. I did not test this with itemducts yet. This does also not affect liquid or power transfer, as far as I can determine.

I'm having the same bug. I'm trying to transport items via tesseracts, adjacent to a tesseract I have the ender quarry. It does mine, but the items go no where, while the power does transfer..

I'm going to downgrade my version real quick, maybe that could work

For the time being, I'm going back to the good old Ender Chest for long-range item transport.

Do ender chests also transport across dimensions?
Yes. Provided both ends are chunkloaded. Also, I recommend EnderStorage's color-configurable Ender Chests rather than the vanilla one. You can have 16^3 variants of the former - i.e 4096 separate lines of long-range or cross-dimensional item transport. Ender tanks work the same for fluids.

some pictures might help, also make sure you didnt do something silly like placing a garbage can adjacent to the tesseract

I changed my setup a bit and now it's working. The tesseract is set to receive power and send items. Also the output of the energy cell is towards the quarry.

P.s. Also running version 1.50, maybe that helps?

Which version number is that? My TE version is 4.0.1-182.

Sorry, dismantled the whole thing, but the testing setup is as simple as they come. See the schematic in the OP. And no, no trashcans. Also, I have updated my modpack and started a new world, we'll see how things go in this one.

Well, I'm not playing an ftb pack an the moment but Resonant Rise. I hope I'm not chased out of here for that, because I like it here much better than on their forums. I'd think this bug would depend on the mod versions rather than pack versions.

I actually have a feeling, though I haven't tried it recently, that you can't do it with vanilla Ender Chests anyway - I'm fairly sure they can neither be pumped into nor extracted from...

With the way they are coded, I doubt it.

They do disappear if both areas aren't chunkloaded. This was happening to be until I chunkloaded the area where the Quarry was as well as the area where my ore was being sent.

I only use tesseracts for power, and ender tanks/chests for the other stuff because it helps cut down on the confusion that having a lot of frequencies would do.
