On my server (direwolf20), we've been recently over flowing with materials from our quarry, so I decided to set up recycling and refining facilities. I'm using tesseracts to send from the quarry to both facilities. However, one tesseract is sending to both facilities. I have checked all channels as many as ten times. All tesseracts are set to the proper channels and frequencies and send/receive only where appropriate. I've broken and reset all four tesseracts involved several times. Any suggestions would be great.

OK, I'll try to be more explicit. I have a quarry that feeds into two item tesseracts. One of these goes to a facility for recycling, the other goes to one for refining and sorting. Or at least these are how the channels are set. Both of the tesseracts at the quarry are set to the proper frequencies and channels, and both are set to send only. The tesseracts at the recycling facility and refining facility are both set to the proper frequencies and chanenls and both are set to receive only.

The problem is, is that the recycling tesseract at the quarry, is sending its output to both of the receiving tesseracts. I have checked the frequencies and channels as many as time times. I have broken and replaced all tesseracts several times. I have no idea why the output is going to the wrong tesseract and would very much like to figure this out so I can turn my quarry back on.

Maybe it is not the tesseracts at fault? Maybe recycle-able material is slipping through your sorting system to your refining tesseract. What are you using to sort the quarry output, and how?

Are you sure that the items are routed properly at the quarry? Are items there reaching the tesseract you intend?

Yes everything is routed properly and it is not the facilities' fault. This is happening before it gets to them. The problem is I have one tesseract sending items to two tesseracts on separate frequencies and channels.

Have you tried setting all the tesseracts to ignore redstone? Maybe there is something at the quarry that is shutting down one of the tesseracts sometimes.

umm, what? as far as i know, thats not possible. tesseracts dont have an item filter and can only send on one channel. you can hook up two receiving tesseracts on the same channel with one sender, but that wont filter the items or sort it in any way. tesseracts push items to nearby inventories when receiving so you cant use a pull filter to only pull certain types out of the tesseract. the sorting mechanism would require 4 tesseracts if done at the quarry or two tesseracts if done on the base's tesseract output.

Edit: hmmm/ I could be wrong as you have certain machines that will only accept certain inputs. If you had both receiving tesseracts set to send/receive this would work, but you'd have to specify every single item type for the recycler and the storage nets. If you use an 'everything else' setting for the recycler setup, it would grab every other item sent, possibly more, because you can't ittem filter the tesseract output directly.

I know i can't filter them directly. I'm not trying to. My quarry sends stuff to keep to one tesseract, stuff to recycle to another tesseract. The recycling tesseract is sending to two separate tesseracts. I don't know hot to be clearer.

(And no, unfortunately, disabling redstone signalling on all tesseracts did nothing)

Are your "sending" tesseracts adjacent to each other? If so, try introducing space between them.

easy fix... have all items go in one tess and then sort at that end into the other tess

Whatever you're recycling, if it's less than 32 unique items, you could feed it all into one diamond transport pipe, have four outputs go to recycling, leave the last, sixth side blank and whatever is left will go through that side towards your processing.

Take that idea and modify it. It's not too difficult I hope.
