I was reading somewhere that an aura node can be damaged and "overcharged" - is this true, and how do the mechanics work?

I bred the rejuvenation bee and it somehow took 3 nodes at about base 200 to 1600 in about 30s - which is slightly worrying having read up somewhere that there is a possible "overcharge".

Any help?

Thanks.

overcharge is when your node is over max capacity, so say your node is at a fairly normal 443/443, thats fine. but when you go above 443 to say 600/443 it's ovecharged and will generate large amounts of flux.

Rarely, you'll find nodes that steadily increase their current vis levels themselves, as opposed to normally where they'll only overcharge when near Crystal Clusters (and usually to a much smaller extent). Unlike normal overcharge, these self-overcharging nodes usually won't reduce their current vis levels to the base vis level -- they'll bleed of (often extreme levels of) flux, but still grow in current strength. This can be valuable, since it's an infinite vis source and tends to give a reliable supply of wisps, but it's dangerous for the underprepared. These are usually defined by having current vis levels much ( > 20%) greater than their base value.

That's always been tied to world-gen or node-merge event, and I've never heard of bees causing it.
