Sure you all have seen this "help me" before, but I am at a loss of brain. :P

Okay. I normally have a server that runs on my computer from FTB Ultimate so a few friends and I could play. Worked wonderful and I do use Hamachi so my friends can connect. Now, I just got a computer to be just for server use only the other day. Been banging my head against the desk trying to get it to work. Opened the firewall to allow the port to go through, triple checked the port forward, double checked the ipconfig /all on the computer that will be using the server, added the new network through hamachi, deleted everything, re-downloaded it all. Everything that I have found for help so far, leads to the same thing... the FTB launchers unable to connect to the server IE Unable to connect: connect timeout. I have asked for help from the "support" but it has been three days, and still no response, so I figured I would ask some one else in the time waiting. If you all must know, I run windows XP Home Professional on the server computer. My router is a Linksys E2000, and my internet connection is at top speed (according to speedtest.net)

EDIT: Updated java, 32bit. Still the same error.

Tried just hamachi on the new pc? even just to eliminate that its a porting issue and not server issue.

Hmmn. I've used hamachi on both computers. It worked just fine on mine and the server logs shows that the server is booting up just fine. That is why I am confused. Now, port forwarding is easy, but does it matter if you do the port forwarding on the computer itself, or on another?

Okay. Hamachi WAS the issue. Figured it out. Hamachi will NOT allow another computer to use the same IP and host and it will not allow you to transfer the current client to another computer. So I have switched to Evolve. Thanks for the help!
