Well I just topped all my fails..
I was in creative for a sec and forgot to get out of it and accidentally punched my diamond chest with ALL my ingots in it.. Needless to say I lost them all.. Everything popped out of the chest and what didnt fit into my inventory vanished into thin air..
I have a full diamond chest full of Blocks of ingots and ingots.. full to the brim.. ALL Gone.. I just want to cry lol.. That was all my work for the past month.. Thankfully I had my creeper host hosting set up to backup the world every night so I am reloading last nights backup and praying i didn't loose to much progress and the backup works.
So Has anyone else made any really dumb mistakes like this that cost them or could have cost them months of work?[DOUBLEPOST=1360587466][/DOUBLEPOST]SO to add to this I just reloaded a previous save and lost a about 2 IRL days worth of work but thats better then a months worth. The work I need ot redo now is a steam boiler setup I made with 8 industrial engines. And I need to reset up the quary which had completleted before this happened so now I have to set it back up and wait for it to complete again. Plus I lost alot of other work on projects I was doing Like I spent about 8 hours working on bees.. Made my indexer and bunch of apiarys had them all set up and had breed a few good bees.... argh this hurts really hurts.
