Sugested change to the webchat to disable guest nicks on #FTB

Hi.

I spend some time helping people in the #[email protected] channel and we are sometimes having a problem with to many users with guest nicknames and it is sometimes hard to diffract between them and they have a hard time what guest nick we are addressing.


Would it be possible to remove "Guest...." from "http://webchat.esper.net?channels=#ftb&nick=Guest....&prompt=1&useUserListIcons=true" on the web chat page.

This would force all users to chose a unique nick before connecting, according to the esper webchat help.

From my understanding of IRC (which may well be wrong), this is controlled by Esper, not FTB, so no one here could do anything about that.

This is copied from the "Set Nickname" dialoge accessed by pressing the "menu button" in the webchat and choosing "add webchat to your site" and then next.

Set nickname
Enter the nickname you would like the client to use by default. Leave it blank for users to be forced to enter a nick themselves:
You can use a random nick by ending the nick in a series of '.' characters, each of which will be replaced by a random digit.
