Details of the issue While I was having the game run in the backround I was forced to do a hard restart of my laptop (takeout and put the battery back in). And when I started the game back up it said I didn't have any save file. But when I looked into the actual files I found the save, but the game just refuses to read it.
I tried to update the game (so the issue happened in an earlier version of the pack, but I don't remember what one), nothing. I tried making a copy of the save file and un- and re-instaling the pack, to then put the save back in. Again nothing
Any way I can recover the save? I was so far in I really don't want to start all over again
