After languishing in the lack of wood for far too long, I finally built myself a wood cutter cart. This is a pretty nice cart. I don't know why I've never used Steve's Carts before. Now I'm interested in building some of these other amazing carts.

I'm trying to use mods and parts of mods I have never used before. Should I go with a RC tunnel bore, or SC drill? Also what options would I need to use with the carts for a mining machine? I see all kinds of modules.

Thanks.

RC tunnel bore can deposit into attached chests, as well as pull materials from attached chests. However, their drill runs out of durability after a while and the max size is 3x3.

SC drills cannot deposit into attached chests (last I tried), nor pull things from them. When the run out of inventory space, they travel back along the tracks to a manager and drop things off. You can refuel them at this time as well. However, their drills have no durability and will last indefinitely.

You'll want a large coal engine, track layer, drill, and internal storage. There might be some I'm missing but that's the important stuff.

Liquid Sensors, as well, unless you want to lose your Galgadorian Drill to lava rushing on the tracks. Protip: you don't. :p
