There are two common errors that are happening right now with packs. You are experincing the first one. Which is that some of the files required for Forge to work are unable to download. Look here for that fix. There is a second common error that involves Railcraft and IC2 (all versions) that cause a crash if the Easter Egg option is not disabled in the Railcraft config. Look here for that fix if/when you experience it. You will also have to go into peaceful temporarily to remove the affected mobs.

That doesn't get you attention any faster. Nothing about a video game is urgent or requiring immediate attention.
Requesting an ASAP response on a forum is also rather useless as none of the people online are required to reply.
