I just started the mindcrack modpack and put my FTB world on there.
I am.... weary of if I should start a new world on there. :L
Sooo i am here to ask you if I should make a new one.

Can't I just use mystcraft?

I think no, because ores generation have been optimized you can if you want, but if i be in your shoes, i would re-create a world

Also a few of the mods been though major reworks that would cause stability issues if you try to use the updated versions of the mods with old worlds. So a new world is required no matter how you look at it.

This happens very often when dealing with modded minecraft as the modders are constantly adding and changing things in their mods so it is best to get used to it.

You can't get new world gen with the mindcrack pack with mystcraft for one simple reason: the mindcrack pack doesn't have mystcraft. Just wait until the finished product.
