Is it possible to use a single player world on a multiplayer server in 1.6.4 Direwolf pack?

I may be wrong but I think you can just copy the folder with the world from sp to the folder with your server and then just modify the "level-name=world" to "level-name=YourSpWorldName" in your server properties, never tried this but should work in theory. :)

@ZethHQ is 100% correct. Shutdown the server, copy the entire "world" folder onto your server at the same level as server.properties , edit server.properties to ensure it finds the world folder, and it should run fine.

Yes you do. Also make sure that the worldgen parameter is set to the same worldgen you used to generate the map.

There is a difference between forcefully enabling biomes o plenty in the BoP configs vs enabling that terrain generation in the world gen of the server.properties file. I know this from experience. Same seed generated wildly different terrain.

Note the seed isn't used and doesn't matter for already generated chunks*. It will only matter for new chunks.

*The seed may come into play if you ever do a re-gen on existing chunks. I've never tried to re-gen chunks on an existing world using a different seed than what the world was generated in. But, to safest, yes, use the same seed.
