I'm running Monster 1.0.5 on a Mac OSX 10.7.3.
When I open a world my sound changes for some reason. It gets all scratchy and bad sounding, very noticeable.
I have my mac plugged into my TV, so my TV is what outputs the sound.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if there's a fix for it?

It honestly sounds terrible while the game is being played, and listening to music is impossible because it sounds so incredibly bad.

Thanks for the help!

You're right that it's fine when playing from the mac, but it can't be the cables and connections. It's a mac piece for the connection, quite new, I use it constantly and I've never had this happen with anything else. The cable is a new HDMI cable which I've never had any issues with.
It happens all of a sudden when I open a world. No problem until that exact moment. The second I leave the world the problem goes away.
Also, it has never done this with any other mod pack I've ever used.

When you say it does the same with music do you mean like if you were playing music though a media player. If so, then I would look at either the tv, connections or the cables.

I think he means the music sounds good until he opens a world at that point the music starts to sound bad.

Exactly that. Everything sounds great (minecraft sounds, music I'm playing) until I open a world. Then it's super scratchy the instant I open the world. The moment I close the world, everything goes back to normal.
If it were the connections you would think it would do it for other programs and games as well, but it doesn't.
Is there some way to check what lines MC is using to output sound or anything?

Civilization 5, civilization 4, Endless Space, Dungeon Defenders, Farm Simulator, different emulators, Settlers of Catan, any type of online flash game... etc.
I've played lots of stuff, seeing as this is my only computer I use. Nothing has ever given me anything like this problem ever before. I also been playing minecraft for about a year and a half, and have never had this problem before.
I'm just wondering if there's something somewhere that I can check the channels that Minecraft Monster is using>
