Some help for a noob

I need a hand with something please.

I've tried loading up a FTB server, everything works great!

SO I thought okay, time to start adding a couple of plugins, PEX, LWC, OnTime stuff like that. Only problem is that there's no plugins folder, and when I make one and drop any of them in, they don't get picked up. I even tried putting them in the mods folder, but still nothing.

Can someone please educate me as to what exactly I'm missing?

I am running the 1.4 version of the FTB server install via the CreeperHost oneclick.
 
Thing is the FTB server runs on Minecraft vanilla, meaning it does not support regular plugins in any way, however I know about two additional serverside modpacks working kind of like plugins, but please test before using on your real server, I have no idea how they get along with each other and FTB... first second

And, my friend, keep away anything about Tekkit, there are many many people in here absolutely not liking it, reason.

O Awsome, Thanks very much!!

I actually totally agree with 99% of the dislike for Tekkit, unfortunately until FTB is properly released there are very few if any alternatives.
 
haha doesnt even change his signature very nice, dont let us intimidate you though, we may have flame wars about it but in the end most of us understand,

nice name btw, did you get it from the bartemaeus trilogy or arabian traditions?
 
Neither I'm afraid, Primal (the PS2 game)

And I don't really care how much some people hate or dislike Tekkit :) It's bringing in enough money in donations, item purchases and advertising revenue to run both that and my FTB beta server :)
