Hey Guys !

I got a Problem and I hope someone can help me

Right now I try to build a kind of semi automatic Smeltery

I want to have every Cast that exists on a Casting Table and be able to flip one or two levers to use only one of the 24 Liquids from the Tanks. Right now my Problem is the following:

I cannot control the Output from the Tank via Redstone (see Pictures please)
The Fluids are only flowing out when I have set it on "Active without Signal" and "Always active".
Why can't I put a Redstone Conduit there, put it on "Active with Signal" and control it via a Lever for example ?

Also I need the Fluids to be able to flow back to the Bottom Output of the Tanks. Thats why I have set it on Input/Output. That's simply because otherwise the Fluids would be blocking the Golden Pipes & Pressured Fluid Pipes.

In the Moment this is my Setup:

Smeltery -> Ender Fluid Pipe -> Open Blocks Tank -> Ender Fluid Pipe -> BC Transport Golden Fluid Pipe -> Pressured Fluid Conduit -> Seared Faucet -> Casting Table

I hope I could clarify my Problem. If there are some Questions I left open please feel free to comment.

Best Regards

If you not pulling from a tank, you don't need the faucet, just pipe the fluid into the casting table.

But then every Table would get Liquid at the same time. What if I only want to use one or two specific Cast Forms and not all of them ? And how can I decide which Liquid I want from the Tanks if I cant controll the Output of the Tanks ?

My thoughts would be to use the insulated redstone conduit channels, one set to pick the table to cast into and a separate set to select metal (or other castable liquid). I'm going to use an example here, hopefully it's simple enough to extrapolate (although it would be limited to 16 casts and 16 metals). Each metal would have it's own channel, and so would each casting table. EnderIO does allow you to set if something recieves thigns based on redstone signal. You wouldn't easily be able to specify which metal goes where easily though.

Say I'm after Bronze Broad Axe Heads, I use a lever to set the orange channel for metal extraction (as i've placed Bronze on the Orange Channel), and the Green Channel on the casting set. However this would constantly make Bronze Broad Axe heads until either you run out of Moltern Bronze, or one of the redstone signals stops.

If you really want to use the faucet you will need a tank for the faucet to pour out of.

Can you explain a little bit further why ? Faucets can only pour out of Fluid & Pressured Fluid Conduits. Thats why I used a Golden Pipe to connect the Pressured Fluid Conduits to the Ender Fluid Conduits whicht are connected to my Tanks.

It has to be something the facuet can pull out of. If the fluid conduit can act as this, that's fair enough, and it was something i wasn't aware of. I think it'd be simpler to use a tank, would avoid needing to swap conduits.

I figured out the Problem why I couldn't control the Output via a Redstone Signal.
It was because I switched the Color to Green. I thought this would affect the Fluid Pipes and not the Redstone Signal...
