SkyFactory 2.5.4 & 2.5.5 Crash on Mac after Initialization

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title SkyFactory 2.5.4 & 2.5.5 Crash on Mac after Initialization

Details of the issue Since SF 2.5.4 I have been unable to play, as as soon as the "Welcome Adventurer" message plays, the game locks up and crashes. Sometimes, it takes the whole computer with it.

I was still able to play 2.5.3 at the time.

As of 2.5.5, I am still crashing.

If the whole system doesn't crash, Mac OS brings up the Error Reporting window:
http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/32f0ff2c

If I run '-version' on the path for Java specified in that error, I get:
$ /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java -version
java version "1.8.0_101"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_101-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.101-b13, mixed mode)

Which is the latest available.

I have deleted everything associated with FTB (~/ftb - where all the packs/configs are stored, ~/Library/Application Support/ftblauncher) and started from scratch.

I've tested the FTB Vanilla and FTB HermitPack, as well FTB SkyFactory 2.5.3, all 3 are working.

Since the problem started with 2.5.4, I'm guessing something with "Updated the following mods: Draconic Evolution, CustomThings, Mod Tweaker, Minefactory Reloaded, Storage Drawers, and Veinminer"

Thanks for any assistance, or suggestions for testing you'd like me to do.
