Single player modpack suggestions

I am looking for a modpack that i can use to get to know mods a bit better
I love mods like mythical agriculture and tech mods like ender io but I never finished any full letsplays of a modpack so im looking for suggestions as for which I should give a shot

If you don't mind going back to version 1.7.10, then there are two packs to recommend. Type1ninja did a fantastic pack with a pack code of upliftingnoobs (all one word) on the legacy launcher, which had a very small unguided selection of mods. It'll give you a playground to play with mods without changing any recipes.

The other side of the coin, is Space Astronomy, also in 1.7.10, has a Hardcore Quest Mod guide book, but is not a hard pack. Instead the book is used to guide you through the various mods, as if you didn't know anything about them. For those who do know them, it also gives useful rewards for completing following stages. It's a pretty awesome pack. There's a sequel for 1.10, but it doesn't seem to have a guide, or rather there wasn't one written when I played it.

As for lets plays, I suggest Rageplaysgames on Youtube. He's done a bunch of Surviving with series, for things like EnderIO and Botania.
