Mac Setting up server Mods ideas

i am looking for ideas to help my server what i want is a mod or mods that can allow me to set a new spawn, disable stuff to different groups of people, protect areas, travel commands e.g. /spawn /home and that is all i am looking to know what mod is best for this or even mods if they do not lag out my server i am making a direwolf20 server on creeper host so any ideas please help

You should take a look at ForgeEssentials, I believe it has most, if not all of those features. If it doesn't, you won't have much of an option other than using MCPC+, which is basically Forge mixed with Bukkit, it allows you to use Bukkit plugins with Forge, and therefore FTB. Some plugins have problems with it, though, but an update has usually fixed it by the time you find it.
