hey guys. I recently bought a 4GB hosting plan from Minecrafted.net to host my FTB Ultimate server on. The problem was on their website they dont offer help in the form of tickets for setting up a server or any of that. So when I try to install my server, the multicraft control panel only has options to choose certain .jar files. It lets me install default (vanilla minecraft), and two different forms of Bukkit servers. Nowhere on that list is there an option to install a FTB server.
So I was reading online and I got my FTB Ultimate server installed and running by putting the selection to default and replacing the default .jar file to the ftb server. This is the way I found online that would get my ftb server working. So the server works now, but the problem is that I'm getting memory leaks and my memory usage is going up really high even when there's just on person online doing nothing. It gives me the message that a world has leaked and there's a mod that's caching memory incorrectly or something like that. I read some fixes online that include putting a chunk loader in each world (overworld, end, twilight, and nether), but my memory is still getting ridiculously high even when just one person is online.
My questions are, is there a way to stop the leaks and bring my memory down to normal? and is there a way to install FTB on Minecrafted.net properly? I just recently switched from creeperhost to minecrafted and my creeperhost server only had 2GB of memory and the usage didn't go as high as the minecrafted one. I've tried everything and I really cant find a solution anywhere. I would appreciate if anyone could offer some advice. Thanks
