Problem Setting up a DW20 server with an external host

Hello guys - hoping you can point me in the right direction here.

I have a server with Fragnet and would like to get the DW20 1.10 modpack up and running on it.

You can get them to set up all of the modpacks up to Minecraft version 1.8 for you, so I'm guessing I need to upload the required files manually through FTP.

I had a go at this last night and was getting this error:

An error occurred trying to configure the minecraft home at E:\UserFiles\DAGS\GameServers\TC78551754085485372480812\Minecraft. for Forge Mod Loader java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: appeng/transformer/AppEngCore : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0

It seems that the server gets some of the way through the initially set up and then stops since no world folder is generated.

Any ideas?

The error means the server is running an old Java version, many mods need Java 8. Contact the support and ask if they can install java 8. If they don't you need to find another host.

Thanks - seems weird a widely used host such as Fragnet wouldn't have updated Java on their servers :S
