I can't really help you, but search for nvidia optimus, I think it's called like this. Good luck:D

Well first, can you tell me if it's installed correctly with up to date drivers?
(It's working on your monitor(s) and everything is working accordingly)

You need to do something with the Nvidia Control Panel. I don't recall the steps right now, but when I'm able to (when hubby wakes from his nap) I'll post them.

Steps:
  1. Right click on desktop, Select Nvidia Control Panel
  2. On the Left side, select Manage 3D settings
  3. Click "Add"
  4. Select Browse
  5. Find the folder in which you installed Java
  6. In your java bin sub-folder (which for me is Java/JRE/bin) select javaw
  7. Click Open
  8. Click Apply.
Optional:
You can then from there customize the settings for that particular program.
I can only guarantee results for Win7 users.
