Server

So I am looking to create a server world that myself and my son can play on, maybe some friends. Not huge, maybe 10 folks. I have not done this in the past, so wondering, whom do yall use?
I see that creeper host is a sponser here at FTB and was wondering if that was a good service to go with?

I use my own computer as it is powerful enough to easily host a server for the few people I want to play with, and the additional cost in power usage is fairly minimal as I never turn it off.
