Server Updating

So I dont know that much about hosting a server, but when I try to use the updated version of the DW20 Pack in my server, it gives me an error telling me that mods are missing. Is it not possible to update the mods on a server? Or maybe I'm just doing it wrong. I searched the threads for awhile and couldn't find anything
