Server question ( not sure if it has been addressed before )

I am trying to create a server for a friend and I to play on. I downloaded the server we wanted ( Yogserver ) I opened it in a new folder. Went into the server properties and added the IP addy from my hamachi ( he is in my network on ham and he will connect to my pc). I also went into my NETGEAR router and forwarded port 25565 as said in the server properties as well. I start the server and let it run. Load Feed the beat and start a multiplayer game and I can see my sever that I name with the Hamachi IP. I join the server. When he tried to connect he just times out. I watched 4 different tutorials on the forums here and youtube and I have followed them exactly and we still cannot connect. Could someone provide a little incite please?

I'm afraid I can't offer any help or insight, but I'm having the same problem. For me, hamachi works fine for everything else, but it just doesn't work for FTB.
