Server machine to host modded.

I've been trying to host a server for my brother and I to play modded on. The hardware I have isn't up to the task apparently.

Aside from used how cheaply can a PC that can run modded well for 2-5 people be built?

I would say have at least 4GB of RAM. If you want the server solely to play FTB, you might be better off renting a shared host or VPS.
