Solved Server Launch Issues

Hello All,
I'm trying to start a server for the first time in about a year. I used to run a server off my own computer for my group of friends and now I want to do it again. Only problem is I've either forgotten how to do it, my computer is malfunctioning, or there's an tech issue. Here I am to try to solve what's going on.
  • I'm running Windows 7 Home
  • The server I'm trying to use is the Monster Server on a local machine, no server provider.
  • Monster 1.1.1 and Minecraft 1.6.4
  • I did not remove any mods or add any.
  • If you mean memory allocation I've given it 1024m - 1024m
  • Start ServerStart.bat which was provided in the server file itself, it opens up cmd and then fails to load.

As far as I remember that's all I needed to do right? Download the zip, extract, and launch? Please let me know how stupid I am, thanks.

PS: Just tried Infinity 1.7 v1.2.1 with MC v.1.7.10 and I'm getting this in the launch

I don't know if I'm missing some fundamental step here. I also did run FTBInstall.bat before the ServerStart.bat.

For your Monster server, this is the problem: java.util.ConcurrentModificationException and it is caused by running java 8, I'd suggest uninstalling java 8 and installing java 7. If you don't want to change your java, you can try putting this into your mods folder: http://files.minecraftforge.net/LegacyJavaFixer/legacyjavafixer-1.0.jar. Or you can try this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum...-forge-1-6-4-1-7-2-java-8-compatibility-patch
If you use the last option the post #5 in that thread has an additional step for servers.

I think I have seen the problem you are having with Infinity somewhere, but I can't remember what caused or fixed it.

Thanks, I was actually able to get a hold of a friend of mine who recommended the same thing.
This is essentially what I did to get Monster up and running perfectly fine:
  1. Downloaded Java 7 Pack 75
  2. Uninstalling all other Javas,
  3. Deleting java.exe, javaw.exe, and javaws.exe in the system 32 folder,
  4. Installed Java 7 Pack 75
Everything's running fine on Monster, haven't tried with Infinity but I don't think I'm going to bother at this point. Thanks for your time! Hopefully this helps others as well.
