I am a previous Tekkit user, switching to Feed The Beast. We recently started a new Universal Electricity server and there is excessive lag. The world is fairly new and there isn't much happening (in comparison to our tekkit world) happening. In the tekkit world, we had a huge automated factory pumping, smelting, sorting, and mining via quarry all the time.. and didn't suffer any lag.. The server is running on a seperate computer, 4gb of ram. The computer doesn't hit 100% cpu or even come close, it sits around 60% running the server. Seeing as a lot less is happening, shouldn't it run smoother? what exactly is causing the lag? Ive heard something about Mystcraft causing lag, could that be it?
OS: 64 bit Windows Home premium

No mods added, except optifine to a few clients
4GB ram - anything else needed here?
The lag type is typical "I placed blocks then they disappeared for 10 seconds" type of lag.
