Server does not show up on

Hello, I have gotten a FTB server running and I can connect to it by typing localhost on the host computer, but on the computer that I use, I cannot connect to it (or any other computer that I have tried). I have tried both a local IP and my static IP neither work? Also I have avast antivirus if that helps? How can I fix this (Oh and I am portfowarding with port-map on the mac)

Server is on what kind of comp? Mac? Where is client located in relation to the server, same network or on another network?

From your description it sounds like you've tried a client connection on the server computer. Try connecting via the ip address of the computer from the same computer (ie: if 192.168.1.101, use that instead of localhost). If it doesn't connect, make sure you don't have an ip address in the server config file (it messes things up) and turn off all your firewalls. If it still doesn't work, post back here any error messages (if any), what the server configuration is (firewalls/AV, etc) so we can try and help figure out what is blocking the port.
