Problem Server Crash on Startup with Cauldron

Okay so I have tried some of the soultions found in other threads for example deleting Not Enough Resources and fastcraft. That works with the version of forge he linked as well as the latest version, my issue with that is that it resets some important plugins configs, for example Essentials. Instead of it's regular config, it looks like this:

plugin-channel: world_info
inform-player: false
encoding: UTF-8

I have done the same with the recommended version and it just crash on startup. Any Ideas what could be wrong? Is there a way to fix the config issue?

Anyone able to give a solution to this? I see there's plenty of people having this issue by now, but an addition to the problem that seems common: this config reset affects all configs.

ok so the best way to resolve this issue is to use the latest version of cauldron. can be found here:http://sourceforge.net/projects/cauldron-unofficial/files/1.7.10-latest/ make sure to download the libraries as well the delete fast craft and not enough resources and it will work no problem

Journeymap server does weird things to plugin configs, we remove it which fixes any issues.

Thanks Guys JourneyMap was causing the config resets. This can now be solved
